Profiles in Converse is a bilingual e-magazine that specializes in interviewing people for their life stories. It was founded by students at Stanford University but is now an international organization with members from universities around the world, including Yale University, New York University, University of Cambridge, UC Berkeley, Mount Holyoke College, Hong Kong University, Columbia University, Imperial College London, University of St. Andrews, Paris Institute of Political Science, Pennsylvania State University Park, College of William and Mary, etc.
We aim to share the ideas, experiences and stories of interesting people in the hope that they will inspire our readers to create stories of their own.
Our interviewees currently include professors and faculty members from different universities but in the future will include people from all backgrounds and professions, including writers, artists, entrepreneurs, businessmen and students.
